What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Driver position at Project Chesapeake?
Project Chesapeake is a private addiction, substance abuse, and mental health treatment provider that provides a full range of addiction services to the state of Maryland. We are looking for a driver for our residential location in Edgewood, MD.
The driver position entails picking individuals up that are admitting to our residential treatment program, taking clients to their next destination after successful completion of the program and taking current clients to approved appointments as needed during the day. In addition to pickups and drop offs, clients are transported to court as needed and the driver stays with the clients at all approved appointments. Project Chesapeake transports clients from many different counties in the state of Maryland and there are typically multiple trips made daily.
The position is full time, Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. There are days / times that the driver may need to come in early or stay late to accommodate the needs of the travel arrangements that day. We are looking to hire as soon as possible.
All participants who apply should have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a drug test
