Production Assistant

Project Halo Brewing is Fulshear's first Craft Brewery and we are growing quickly! We are looking for a new Full Time Production Assistant to join our team to assist our Head Brewer make awesome beer!

What you will do:

• Production Assistants are the “Backbone” of the brewery and work hard to make the tasty goods that make our customers keep coming back for more!
• You'll understand our Customer-Obsessed culture and create a positive and memorable guest experience for our customers every day even as a Back Of House Team Member.
• You will work directly under the supervision of our Multi-Award Winning Head Brewer and learn our standard operating procedures for beer making, cleaning, and packaging.
• Clean In Place (CIP) and Sanitation operations for production tanks and other equipment
• Learn and execute Cellaring Operations to include Dry-Hopping, Yeast Harvesting, Taking Beer Samples, Carbonating Beer Batches, and More.
• Intimately understand the safe operation of our canning line to package
• Clean the production area and other duties as assigned throughout the shift.
• Conduct thorough cleaning prior to opening and closing of shifts.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs regularly
• Must be able to move 1/6bbl and 1/2bbl kegs regularly
• Receive and inventory raw materials to include grain and hops
• Deliver Beer throughout the Houston area as needed

Basic REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule primarily consisting of weekdays and some Saturdays.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, for extended periods of time
• TABC Certified Server

· Must be at least 20 years of age

· Must be able to lift and carry items 60lbs daily

· Basic understanding of Math and Chemistry

Preferred REQUIREMENTS:

• Intimate knowledge of Craft Beer.
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server (Level 1).
• Previous Brewery Experience
• Forklift Certification
• Previous Brewing Experience is preferred but not required
• Previous experience making deliveries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
