Job Summary: Leads a K-8 classroom as a Lead Teacher during summer camp. Lead Teacher responsibilities include planning and implementing lessons that include project-based learning for academic and life skills enrichment in a state-of-the-art, high-quality center, and supervision of children during summer camp trips. Summer camp schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday, for six weeks throughout July and August. Orientation is scheduled for late June. |

These requirements are mandated by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) before working with children and do not include all Project HOME requirements. Physical requirements: Active work involved in the care of children. Includes walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, and driving (if applicable). Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must be able to walk short distances (1 mile or less).
