Job Overview
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: This position requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience in child welfare, homelessness, addiction, or other related social services. Requires a valid Florida Driver’s License and must be able to pass a Background and Drug Screen(if requested)
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
Direct Reports: Program Specialist and Case Management Staff
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Daily interaction with Case Management for mentoring and best practice techniques
· Serve as Liaison with conflicts – for case management and clients (around compliance, disciplinary actions, etc.)
· Primary contact for Property Management company, IT, Security, Website
· In the absence of the Program Specialist and/or Case Management staff – escorts vendors into units
· Holds administrator role in HMIS/Wellsky and conducts monthly checks for accuracy as it relates to Case Management entries
· Monitors Door Loop on a weekly basis; reporting arrears on a monthly basis to Executive Director
· Meets with Executive Director weekly for mentoring and program oversight
· Conducts tours of Property (in conjunction with ED as needed)
· Prepares board reports in conjunction with Executive Director
· Daily Oversight of Case Management
· Monitoring of Payment Plans (beyond 1k in delinquency)
· Primary Contact for Inventory @ Brothers Keepers and onsite storages (program assistant to assist)
· Participation in client review panel on a monthly basis
· Monthly case management staffings/peer reviews/bi-monthly case file auditing
· Monthly staff meetings (in conjunction with ED) – quarterly team building activity
· Assist in maintaining donor relationships and serves as primary contact for onsite volunteer and other fundraising activities held at Hope Villas
· Supports the Executive Director with fundraising activities on an annual basis
· Support Program Specialist with Donor Perfect as needed
· Monitors grants in conjunction with Program Specialist
· Conducts weekly walkthrough of Hope Villas property and reports any concerns to Property Management
· Serves as direct support to Case Management with after hours and on call issues
· Maintains ongoing and regular contact with the onsite therapeutic providers for quality control and monitoring purposes
· Any other request made by Executive Director
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Ability to demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills without minimal supervision
· Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management skills
· Ability to represent Project Hope in a professional manner at community events
· Maintains ethical, moral, and professional conduct on and off the job
· Ability to demonstrate the love and grace of Christ to staff, partners, board members, donors, etc.
· Possesses strong work/life balance and professional boundaries at all times
· Experienced in public speaking
· Experienced in Property Management and/or willing to become so
· Possesses a “can do” attitude with the ability to create and sustain a cohesive team – with support from the Executive Director
· Ability to remain calm in crisis situations while demonstrating excellent de-escalation techniques.
· Ability to be coached and mentored on fundraising skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
