POSITION SUMMARY :
The Supply Chain Consultant will conduct a thorough review of the organization's supply chain policies and processes, with a particular focus on procurement and Gifts-In-Kind (GIK) management. This role will ensure compliance with international standards, donor requirements, and internal regulations while identifying gaps and risks. The consultant will benchmark current practices against industry standards and recommend improvements for ongoing compliance and accountability. Collaboration with key stakeholders and preparation of a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations will be key deliverables.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Policy and Process Review :
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the organization's supply chain policies, procedures, and guidelines, focusing on procurement and GIK processes.
- Assess compliance with international standards, donor requirements, and internal policies.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and potential risks in existing processes.
