Position Summary:
The CCSC is responsible for ensuring client safety, providing direct care services and maintaining building safety during shift hours at the residential site.
Schedule Needed:
Saturday -Sunday 11:00pm- 7:00am
Monday- Friday 11:00pm-7:00am
Saturday- Sunday 3:00pm-11:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for security and safety of the building including reporting and monitoring client activities in common areas of the building.
- Report all incidents using the agency incident reporting system as well as notify appropriate personnel
- Handles emergency and engages in crisis management and intervention, calling 911 and other emergency contacts as needed.
- Directs visitors and handles general inquiries
- Collaborates with case management staff regarding client safety concerns, including but not limited to collaborative apartment inspections
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Clean and valid drivers license required. CPR/AED certification is a plus. NY State Security Certification preferred. Knowledge of homeless and disadvantaged populations is a plus. Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing regarding complex and sensitive issues and regulations. In addition, Client Care Safety Coordinator shall perform any duties as required to meet the new needs of the program and the clients we serve.
