Position Summary:
The program coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the Castleton Housing Program, including but not limited to the direct supervision of case managers, client care safety coordinators, and a program assistant. The program coordinator is responsible for ensuring core services provisions are met in accordance with funder and agency requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors the overall quality of service provision to ensure increased quality of life for clients while assuring the services being provided are in compliance with regulations and contractual obligations
- Implements Project Hospitality's policies, procedures, and philosophies as they relate to service delivery
- Responsible for budget spending, monitoring, and preparation
- Provide ongoing supervision to all staff and ensure safety and general welfare of clients/tenants; provides consistent and flexible supervisory support to all program staff members
- Responsible for the development and implementation of workshops and staff trainings
- Available on-call to assist and troubleshoot crises with clients / tenants.
Qualifications
- Position requires a Bachelor degree and/or working experience in social services field.
- Preferably working with the chronic homeless population.
- Ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse projects.
- Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing, with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues or regulations.
- In addition, the Program Coordinator shall perform any duties as required to meet the needs of the program and the clients.
