What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Instructor position at Project Human X?

Duties Include:
- Maintain a clean and organized art studio
-Develop and implement art lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach students different art techniques, such as, painting, sculpting, etc.. (We will help you learn as you go if there is something you need more experience with).
- Provide guidance and support to students in exploring their creativity and developing their artistic skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on their artwork
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects or events
- Organize and supervise art-related activities, such as art shows or exhibitions
Experience:
- Knowledge of healthy communication skills and behavior management techniques
- Experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds
- Experience in facilitating artistic events is a plus
Note: A degree in Fine Arts or Art Education is preferred but not required. Passion for art and the ability to inspire creativity in others are essential qualities for this role.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
