Opportunity
The Climate Undergraduate Intern will support the Climate team's research, eco-system mapping, and administrative needs. This internship is in the field of climate displacement law. The intern will be supervised by the Climate Supervising Attorney. This is a remote internship, but it is strongly preferred for candidates to work from IRAP's New York City office space.
Candidates must have their own external funding to apply.
Possible Responsibilities
- Support the Climate team's research needs in the field of climate displacement law.
- Conduct a thorough eco-system mapping of relevant regional players in the climate justice movement.
- Assist with the Climate department's administrative needs, such as scheduling and planning large scale in-person and / or online professional training and / or networking events.
- Assess and create opportunities to amplify the department's work, including on social media.
Requirements
Education
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate university program in a field related to law, policy, or international relations.

This is a full-time internship and requires an 8-week commitment (June 9, 2025 - August1, 2025).
Compensation / School Credit
Candidates must have sufficient external funding (e.g., school funding) to cover 8-week internship program.
