About the Role
As a Senior Developer Relations Engineer, you will be the first line of support for our partners and external developers.. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering strong developer communities. You will help build and support a more democratic and user-controlled internet ecosystem, working specifically with the Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP), the Frequency blockchain, and related technologies that put users back in control of their digital identities and data.
Key Responsibilities

Integration Support:
-
Serve as the primary technical contact for partners during their integration process, providing hands-on support and guidance.

Refine the onboarding experience including resources, support and technical documentation for successful integrations and app development. Assist in developing integration patterns that align with Project Liberty's vision of a people-powered internet including implementing DSNP and Frequency-based applications and services.

Engage with developers to suggest solution architectures and integration roadmaps that work for their specific needs and use cases, providing examples and writing sample code as needed.

Assist partners in configuration of tools and services, wallet setup, and understanding of tokenomics and available programs.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with internal engineering teams where appropriate.

Developer Advocacy:

Gather feedback, issues, and feature requests from partners and the developer community to relay to the product and engineering teams, driving continuous improvement of our platform and tools.

Represent partner and external developer needs in internal discussions and decision-making processes.

Qualifications
-
3 years in a Developer Relations or similarly externally facing engineering role

Familiarity with digital identity systems and data portability standards
-
Understanding of protocols, governance models, and distributed systems in the decentralized social networking space

Knowledge of privacy-preserving technologies and best practices

Experience with community-driven development and on-chain governance models

Knowledge of relevant Web3 technologies, including blockchain, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and Web3 wallet setup, and ability to explain these concepts to others

Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Contributions to published whitepapers, technical specifications, or open source project documentation (e.g. on Github)

Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Additional Information
- This is a contract-to-hire position, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance.

The expected salary range for this position is equivalent to $135,000 - $145,000 annually. The actual salary offer will be determined on factors including the qualifications, experience, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
