We are looking for an experienced, hard-working Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while also maximizing the living experience for residents and the community. This is accomplished by ensuring that all resident maintenance issues are resolved expertly and efficiently. You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

- Ensure that the property maintains an exceptional curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained.
- Ensure that the property is free of trash, debris, and animal waste.
- Assist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties: plumbing, paint, HVAC, electrical, appliances
- Consistently and genuinely demonstrate exemplary principles of customer service and teamwork.
- Maintain safe and preventive maintenance for clubhouse, office, model, hallways, and all other common areas
- Complete turnovers promptly and ensure the best possible appearance of each apartment before new residents move in.
- Communicate with the Property Manager any problems with maintenance or curb appeal that requires further attention.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, according to policies and procedures.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Contribute to resident satisfaction by ensuring that customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
- Required to be available for Maintenance after-hours calls.
- Efficiently complete and close resident maintenance work orders.
Qualifications:
- Several years of relevant industry experience; property management experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of property maintenance experience.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills.
- Ability to travel from property to property if needed.
- Computer Skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Experience with proper use of electric tools.
- Hardworking and reliable and understands the importance of teamwork.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
