What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Project Patch?
We are growing! Looking for an experienced maintenance worker to keep our newly renovated Garden Valley / Crouch Youth Program facility and machinery in good repair.
Our maintenance worker will :
- Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule on all vehicles and motorized equipment.
- Maintain written record of maintenance performed.
- Verify and Maintain vehicle safety systems (brakes, lights, etc)
- Ensure all vehicles contain proper safety equipment (spare, jack, lug wrench, fire extinguisher, and safety triangles.
- Maintain a clean and accessible shop area.
- Ensure that all the buildings are kept in good repair.
- Ensure that all smoke detectors are functional.
- Ensure the fire suppression system is functional.
- Ensure exterior, interior, and emergency lights are functional.
- Ensure that central heat / AC air filters are checked and changed regularly.
- Keep shop supplies necessary for maintenance and repair of equipment on hand
- Perform quarterly generator tests.
- Ensure that buildings meet all applicable fire and safety codes
- Ensure that access to buildings is not inhibited by snow.
- Ensure that adequate hand tools are available for snow removal, lawn care, wood splitting, and other grounds projects.
- Ensure power lawn equipment is in working order.
- Arrange for or maintain the main driveway road surface (grading, repair, dust control).
- Ensure wood cutting equipment is kept in good working order.
Salary : $20 - $24
