Contract and Compliance Manager

Project Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist - Commercial Law to join our team. Our partner law firm offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, with a strong emphasis on professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial law principles and be proficient in the use of various legal software and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents related to commercial law cases.
• Conduct thorough cite checks and research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or other platforms.
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate case calendars.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling depositions, filing paperwork, and organizing documents.
• Prepare and file pleadings in both state and federal courts, ensuring strict adherence to court rules and procedures.
• Support the discovery process, document review, and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial law as a paralegal.
• Expertise in cite checking and Bluebook standards.
• Familiarity with e-filing procedures in state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software like Relativity, CaseMap, or PACER.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification.
