Project Recruit has partnered with a multidisciplinary legal practice dedicated to delivering superior client service, and responding to the changing needs and growth of their clients and seeks a senior bankruptcy associate. The firm has a very collaborative environment and takes pride in mentoring associates within the firm. The firm is seeking a bright, energetic, and hard-working litigation associate.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide legal counsel to health-care focused clients on federal and state health care regulatory issues impacting transactions and day-to-day business operations
- Handle all aspects of healthcare litigation, including drafting pleadings / motions, preparation of discovery and attendance at court conferences
- Handle hospital privilege actions
- Conduct insurance company Examinations Under Oath
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and documents related to health care transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, regulatory compliance and employment
- Maintain direct communication with firm attorneys and clients, providing updates and strategic recommendation
- Handle insurance audits and professional license board matters, including before the OPMC and OPD
- Prepare for and attend administrative agency hearings
