Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with commercial litigation tasks, including drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents.
- Conduct cite checking for accuracy and compliance with Bluebook standards, perform legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or other platforms.
- Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain case calendars.
- Provide administrative support, such as scheduling depositions, coordinating filings, and assisting with document organization.
- Prepare and file pleadings in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Support discovery and document review, trial preparation, client communication, and attorney coordination.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated cite checking skills and familiarity with The Bluebook.
- Proficiency in e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software like Relativity, CaseMap, or PACER.
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification.
