Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Plumbing Estimating and project management, with the ability to effectively negotiate prices and control costs. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate estimates, and collaborating closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, utilizing software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines for projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid documents and presenting estimates to clients.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating or related field, with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of cost control methods and practices within the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
