Project Overview
The Project Resource Collective is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead our team in delivering projects on time and within budget. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing project management functions, including integration, scope, time management, cost, quality, communications, and risk components.
- We are looking for an individual who possesses strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering projects successfully.
- Responsibilities include preparing and publishing monthly reports, issuing meeting agendas and minutes, logging and tracking RFIs, PCOs, submittals, correspondence, and other project documents.
- You will review all RFIs and coordinate their response to the contractor in a timely manner, as well as review submittal comments and RFIs for appropriateness.
- Taking work progress photos, maintaining document control systems, assisting in developing independent estimates for proposed changes and/or change orders, assembling PCO/CO packages for owner approval, and coordinating shop drawing/submittal review and approval processes are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or at least 7 years of related experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience directing project management functions and overseeing integration, scope, time management, cost, quality, communications, and risk components is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the management of vertical, commercial construction projects is necessary.
- Experience in administering and developing construction contracts is required.
