Core Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the HR team, strategically managing the complete employee lifecycle including talent acquisition, onboarding, and continuous growth
- Empower and develop HR staff through effective coaching, feedback, and clear expectations
- Streamline HR operations by managing workflows, delegating efficiently, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of HR activities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate impactful HR policies, programs, and practices to foster positive employee relations and a thriving workplace
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute an HR strategy that supports business objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to organizational leaders, providing strategic HR guidance on people decisions and HR policies
- Contribute to future workforce planning and talent forecasting
- Stay current with HR best practices and legal developments through professional development and networking
- Communicate HR policies, programs, and updates clearly to the organization
- Proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks, ensuring legal compliance
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization in legal matters as needed
- Manage the preparation and submission of accurate and timely HR reports
- Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent
- Identify organization-wide training needs and design and deliver comprehensive development programs
- Develop and implement a clear performance review strategy and empower managers for effective performance management
- Resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure fair outcomes
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of HRIS, ATS, and performance management systems
- Develop and implement strategies to boost employee morale, engagement, and workplace satisfaction
- Administer employee benefits programs, manage claims, evaluate vendors, and educate employees on their benefits
- Direct the creation and accuracy of job requirements and descriptions
- Lead and manage HR-related projects aligned with organizational goals
- Provide operational support to ensure the seamless continuity of essential HR functions
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of progressively responsible human resource experience
- 3 years of experience in labor relations and employee relations
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- SHRM-CP or (SCP preferred)
- Proven experience leading and developing HR teams and implementing HR strategies
- Deep knowledge of all HR functions (talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, HR technology)
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proactive and results-oriented with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace
