What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech Therapist position at Project Speech?
This position is to work in our Boynton Beach-based clinic for a Full-time Pediatric Speech Therapist position, Monday-Thursday (8:30am-5:30pm) and half-day Friday (8:30am-12:30pm).
Project Speech is a pediatric speech therapy practice passionate about causing change in a child’s life. We have been providing speech therapy to children 18 months and older since 2017. Our practice values cultural responsiveness and work/life balance.
The speech therapist’s responsibilities would include:
- Provide therapy in the clinic environment.
- Document treatment sessions in our online EMR system.
- Conduct initial/re-evaluations and summarize information into a report.
- Design/implement a plan of care appropriate to issues identified, required frequency of treatments, and involves the patient/family.
- Educate and counsel families regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Provide information regarding the appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support resources to the patient’s family.
- Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services.

Our Ideal Candidate:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Experience with Pediatrics
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with other therapists
- Passionate about speech therapy and working with children
- Speaks Spanish (but not required)
