What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst - (Temp-to-Hire) position at Project Transition?
Are you a Licensed BA who dreams of having an end-to-end impact on a program for adults with IDD and co-occurring behavioral health conditions? Licensed Behavior Analyst to contract at an hourly rate for assessments, staff training and plan development, review and revision for up to 6 persons with IDD supported in a community behavioral health program. Hours and rate are negotiable. Come join our interdisciplinary team that includes a licensed therapist, nurse practitioner, social worker, case manager, program director, and residential advisors (who have completed training for RBTs)!
Specific Responsibilities:
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments for each member
- Based on the assessment data, behavioral observations, and collateral information, develop a person-centered Behavior Support Plan for each member
- Train staff to competency on implementation and documentation of the BSP and any other treatment/transition plans
- Lead the staff in periodic reviews of treatment and transition planning progress with each member, in accordance with policy and procedures
- In collaboration with Senior Leadership, the IDD Services Director, and program director, develop programming to support people in gaining the skills (e.g., social, leisure, pre- employment, problem-solving) to transition to less restrictive levels of care upon transition
- Provide guidance in helping staff to gain RBT certification as well as ongoing supervision for those maintaining the RBT certification.
- Maintain a state of continuous regulatory readiness in all areas of responsibiliy
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Masters Degree from an accredited Behavior Analysis program
- Licensure: TN State license as a BCBA for independent practice required for relevant work
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience providing BA services as well as 1 year supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Strong sense of teamwork and mentoring highly desired, including ability to work with leadership and extended team remotely
- Motivated individual with strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
- Must be a self-initiator with the ability to maintain confidentiality and self- manage
