Pay Rate : $21 per hour plus night shift differential
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Paint Booth Spray Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and parts for painting, applying paint using spray equipment, and ensuring a flawless finish that meets our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as required.
Mix and match paint colors to ensure an exact match with vehicle specifications.
Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
Apply primer, basecoat, clear coat, and other finishes using spray equipment.
Inspect finished surfaces for quality, ensuring smoothness, uniformity, and adherence to company standards.
Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the paint booth.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and compliance with hazardous material handling regulations.
Document work performed and materials used as required.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license required
Proven experience as an auto body spray painter or similar role.
Proficiency in mixing and applying automotive paints.
Familiarity with paint booth operations and maintenance.
Knowledge of various paint finishes, materials, and application techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Certification in automotive painting or refinishing (preferred).
Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required
