Job Description :
- Operating Room nurse provide 1 : 1 patient care to patients before, during, and after surgery for cases including, but not limited to : General surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, Endoscopy, GYN.
- Provide direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations.
- Demonstrates knowledge of anesthetic drugs, actions and side effects.
- Demonstrates knowledge of arterial lines, Swan-Ganz, spinal and epidural catheters and how to document appropriately.
- Performs Pre-op and Post-op patient care addressing the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment plan of care.
- Demonstrates appropriate priority development in performing circulating duties including emergency situations.
- Properly opens sterile items and transfers them correctly to sterile field
