Job Requirements:
Adheres to Universal Precautions standards. Understand and comply with policies and procedures. Dependability & Responsibility attendance, punctuality, follows instructions. Venipuncture skill. Performs Daily Quality Control & Daily Maintenance per guidelines. Completes testing in a timely, concise manner. Operation and Troubleshooting of Chemistry Analyzers. Operation and Troubleshooting UA Analyzer. Operation and Troubleshooting Hematology Analyzer. Operation and Troubleshooting Coag Analyzer. Blood Bank Testing (type, RH, Antibody Screening, compatibility testing, QC), Courtesy and Professional Conduct (patients, lab staff, physicians, other employees). Misc. Testing (serological/micro testing, microscopic, etc.). Communication (shares important information with co-workers, supervisor, fellow employees, physicians). Overall Quality of Performance and Conduct
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field. Completion of an accredited MLT program. Licensing/Certification: Active Arkansas state MLT license or eligibility to obtain. American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MLT.
