Travel CT Technologist - $3,200 per week

Prokatchers is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Salary : $3,200.00 / week Medical specialty : CT Technologist Standard Shift : Days Weekly Schedule : 3x12 Schedule Notes : Friday - Sunday 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 30 PM, holidays, on call and callback per unit needs. Duties and Responsibilities : Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure tohelp them feel comfortable. Insert IVs when necessary for the test. Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling. Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion. Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Requirements : Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). NYS licensure (mustobtain PRIOR to starting position) CT Tech License (NY ONLY) Two (2) Years' Experience Level 1 Trauma Center Experience BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Siemens Scanner Experience Epic Experience Highly desired Preferred : Injectioncertification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process. Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred. Soft Skills Required : Effective written and verbal communication skills A patient andcompassionate disposition.
