Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Salary : $2,542.00 / week.
Medical specialty : Intensive Care Unit.
Standard shift : Nights
Weekly schedule : 3x12
Patient Ratio : MCU is a 1 : 3-4 ratio, primarily 1 : 4. ICU is 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 depending on acuity. If we have overflows 1 : 3.
Description :
Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
Teaches patients and significant others.
Documents patient care in the medical record.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 02 years of ICU AND PCU or ICU AND IMCU experience required.
Must be able to read and interpret rhythms and cardiac drips required.
Need someone with cardiac experience.
Need someone that has experience with radial and groin PCI access and bleed management; however, we do not pull sheaths.
Need experience with temp pacing required, and balloon pump and Impella are preferred.
Education : Required Education :
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum Degree Required :
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
Preferred Education :
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
Required Certifications & Licensure :
Current OR State RN License required.
AHA - BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required.
