What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Nurse RN position at Prokatchers?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Leon, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing and hold a current RN license issued by the Iowa State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
- Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families about health conditions, and ensure proper documentation of care.
- Responds to changes in patient conditions and manages medical equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Current RN License issued by the Iowa State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- PALS, NRP, and TNCC preferred.
