Job Description
The Clinical Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, quality nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Department of Nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to their care, utilizing Jean Watson's Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay's professional nursing practice model.
Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental and psychosocial needs of the patient. The RN supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.
The RN shall be considered to be competent when they consistently demonstrate the ability to transfer scientific knowledge from social, biological and physical sciences in applying the nursing process. Provides care that is consistent with the interdisciplinary plan of care and grounded in the principles of Relationship Based Care.
Requirements
- Minimum acute care three years (03) experience required
- Must have triage experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- BLS, ACLS - AHA required
