Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hardscape/Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful environments. The Hardscape/Landscape Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to execute various landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery for various landscaping activities.
- Assist in the installation of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Conduct masonry work to enhance outdoor features.
- Execute flooring installation for outdoor structures as needed.
- Carry out frame carpentry tasks to support landscaping projects.
- Ensure proper caulking and sealing of outdoor installations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while on job sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping or related fields is a plus, but not necessary.
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to outdoor lighting is a plus.
- Experience in masonry work to create durable outdoor features is desired.
- Skills in flooring installation for patios or decks are beneficial, but not necessary.
- Proficiency in frame carpentry to support various landscape projects is a plus.
- Ability to build and assemble landscape structures effectively.
- Strong understanding of hand tools and their proper usage.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
