The Patient Services Representative acts as the face of Proliance Sports Therapy and is the first impression for our patients and their loved ones. - Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Complete patient registration and eligibility verification accurately and in a timely manner
- Review patient paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Inform patients of their co-pay and deductible responsibility
- Check patients in and out of their appointments and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments
- Contribute as a key player on a high‐performing team
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :
- Superior customer service skills, modeling patience, composure, and cooperation
- Efficient use of time, with meticulous attention to quality, detail, accuracy and completion
- Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities, coordinate work activities, and exercise initiative
- Creativity and resourcefulness in addressing problems and opportunities and tenacity to see things through to solution
- Ability to remove oneself personally from given situations, remaining objective
- Demonstrate a learning attitude toward solving problems, using good reasoning and judgment
- Ability to adapt to change, delays or unexpected events while maintaining a positive mindset
- Education / Experience
- High School diploma required
- Preferred) Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent customer-facing experience
- Preferred) 2-3 years front office, medical reception, or direct customer service experience
