We’re seeking an enthusiastic teacher who thrives in structured yet imaginative classrooms—where fractions become pizza parties, history leaps off the page through role-play, and science concepts turn into Rube Goldberg machines!
Position Details:
Teach Core Subjects Through:
- History: Recreate ancient artifacts, debate as historical figures
- ELA: Write/perform plays, design novel "character trading cards"
- Math: Run a class store (decimals), measure blueprint designs
- Science: Build wearable cell models, engineer egg-drop challenges
Scheduling:
- Morning or afternoon sessions (flexible part-time/full-time)
- Age-specific classes
Responsibilities:
- Deliver provided curriculum with creative enhancements
- Design 1-2 hands-on projects per unit (supports/materials provided)
- Track progress through traditional assessments creative demonstrations
Ideal Candidate:
-Experience teaching elementary/middle school core subjects
-Passion for active learning (kinesthetic, project-based, or arts-integrated methods)
-Ability to engage different age groups separately (K-2, 3-5, or 6-8)
-Comfort with structured frameworks adding creative flair
