LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Summary/ description 

The LTAC  Registered Nurse is a leadership role that requires the delivery of exceptional patient care through the implementation of the Nursing Process. This role aligns with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide superior patient care.

• Employ critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to proactively ensure safe patient care delivery.

• Maintain clinical proficiency through continuing education.

• Delegate patient care responsibilities based on the staff's experience and qualifications.

• Supervise assigned staff in the provision of patient care.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of nursing experience

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association

• Active NC  RN license

Facility Requirements:

• Submission of relevant certification documentation

• Compliance with specific facility requirements
