Job Description :
Are you handy with tools and have a knack for sales? We're looking for an enthusiastic Garage Door Technician to join our team at ProLift Garage Doors of Lansdale. No prior garage door experience needed – we offer on-the-job training for the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities :
- Installation and Repair : Learn to install and repair various types of garage doors under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Customer Service : Engage with customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
- Sales : Leverage your sales experience to offer additional services or products that benefit our customers, contributing to your commission earnings.
- Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and openers (training provided).
- Deliver outstanding customer service, educating customers about products and services.
- Identify and recommend additional products or services to enhance the customer’s experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance.
- Use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Handiness : Must be comfortable with basic tools and have some experience in manual labor or similar fields.
- Sales Experience : Previous experience in sales, customer service, or similar roles where you've had to persuade or convince customers.
- Problem Solving : Ability to think on your feet and solve problems efficiently.
- Physical Ability : Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License : Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record as you might need to travel to job sites.
