The Garage Door Installer will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors, openers, and related hardware.
- Perform fixture installation and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
- Fabricate components as needed for custom installations.
- Conduct glass installation for garage door windows or panels.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site at customer locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to handle garage door components safely.
- Experience in fixture installation with a focus on precision and quality.
- Ability to build custom solutions based on client specifications.
- Knowledge of glass installation processes for garage door applications.
- Competence in using power tools such as drills, saws, and impact wrenches.
- Skills in fabricating parts or components as necessary for installations.
- Commercial experience a plus.
