Residential Garage Door Service Technician

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Garage Door Mechanic to join our team in the Spartanburg County area. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining residential and commercial garage doors. Our team of highly-trained technicians have the experience and expertise necessary to meet all of your garage door installation and service needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install or repair garage doors and openers and associated components.
• Assist in training new technicians or installers as needed.
• Responsible for safe driving of company vehicles.
• Responsible for safe work site, equipment, and truck.
• Assists in customer service issues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience servicing/installing garage doors - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used in the residential garage door service.
• Mechanical aptitude - knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public.
• Team player; strong collaboration skills.
• Be a self-starter with the ability to operate without direct supervision at all times.
• Must have valid drivers' license with good driving record and be insurable.
• Ability to work outside and climb ladder.
• Ability to read and understand directions and instructions.
• Basic math and legible handwriting.
