Role Mandate:
The main function of the Network Engineer is to determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. This role is key in planning and implementing network upgrades and ensuring the provisioning of network equipment in the data center.
Candidate Value Proposition:

This role is supported by comprehensive playbooks, runbooks, wikis, and documentation to ensure success. The individual will work alongside an engineer, providing the opportunity to gain experience in the field of network engineering.
Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
- Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs.
- Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
- Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operating systems.
- Determine specific network hardware or software requirements, such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
- Develop and implement solutions for network problems.
Performance Measurement:
Performance will be measured based on the successful execution of assigned tasks.
Must-Have Skills:
- 2 years of experience in Network Engineering, Linux/Unix, and Python.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage.
- Knowledge of computer software such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Data center engineering knowledge.
