Position Justification

The AI/ML Developer will support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) applications such as Document AI (DOC AI) for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The role involves ensuring system stability, functionality, and compliance with SEM/SUITE standards while optimizing business processes and data integrity. The candidate will serve as a technical lead, guiding development efforts and mentoring team members to support other critical applications.

Position Summary

• Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), and/or C .
• Experience in Oracle, Data Bricks, Elastic, and ELK.
• Proficiency in data processing and analysis using SQL, R, and Pandas.
• Experience working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques.
• Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing for chatbot flows and APIs.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of conversation design and user experience principles.
• Ability to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face’s Transformers.
• Experience with OCR tools such as Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.
• Proficiency in Dialogflow ES or CX, Google Assistant SDK, or other Google Cloud chatbot tools.
• Experience building, managing, and optimizing chatbot applications for web, mobile, and voice assistants.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and webhooks for backend communication.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud AI, or Azure AI.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Firestore.
• Strong understanding of neural networks, computer vision, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 years in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• 3 years in microservices.
• 3 years in NLP tools like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.
• 3 years in OCR tools like Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.
• 3 years in chatbot development using Dialogflow ES/CX, Google Assistant SDK, or similar.
• 3 years in RESTful APIs and webhooks.
• 3 years in SQL, R, and Pandas.
• 3 years in cloud computing and software development.
• 3 years in software development using Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• 3 years implementing AI/ML concepts.
• 3 years designing, building, and managing GCP solutions.
• 3 years in front-end development using Angular/React JS.
• 3 years developing in the JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment.
• 3 years working with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methodologies.
• 3 years implementing Agile development processes, including test-driven development.
• 3 years creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
