Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Manufacturing Technicians to join our team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of manufacturing operations, collaborating closely with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth production. You will be responsible for performing set-up, calibration tasks, rework, and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You will also utilize advanced programs to collect and analyze data to make on-line adjustments to products, instruments, and equipment. Additionally, you will assist in developing and refining methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process, and work with engineers on experimental activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring that the production process runs smoothly.
- Collaborate with engineers in set-up, calibration, and adjustment of equipment and processes.
- Perform rework and quality testing for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Use sophisticated programs to evaluate and collect data for real-time adjustments to products, instruments, and equipment.
- Develop and recommend improvements to manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Assist engineers in conducting experiments to refine and optimize manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with common mechanical hand tools.
- Experience working with fasteners, including torquing mechanical fasteners.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint-style mechanical drawings.
- Strong ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance as needed.
- No specific background or years of experience required—focus on adaptability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
