Job Responsibilities:
Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands
Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas
Develop and implement solutions for network problems
Develop conceptual, logical, or physical network designs
Additional Responsibilities:
Deployment, configuration, and management of all network infrastructure in labs
Work with partner teams and vendors to manage day-to-day operations and reliability of the lab network
Schedule and perform maintenance, including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning of production networks
Create deployment packages and maintain as-built documentation and asset database for installed network gear
Establish and implement best practices and contribute to the design of new scalable network solutions
Support the development, testing, and integration of new hardware and software platforms into the network
Participate in an on-call rotation to support the regional network infrastructure 24x7
Qualifications:
Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP)
Working knowledge of physical infrastructure design, including structured cabling and fiber-optic cabling
Proven experience working in a global team environment and solving problems with limited supervision
Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6
6 years of work experience responsible for designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks
Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against mission-critical deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage
Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with network design and deployment
Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and willingness to learn new skills
Former experience at Meta or other major tech companies preferred
Interview Process:
Two interview rounds
One interview with CWAM
Each interview duration is 45 minutes
