Compensation : $40-42 / hr
Overview :
Northrop Grumman is seeking a CAD Operator 3 to join our Mechanical Engineering team at the Chandler, AZ facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating mechanical drawings, designing packages, and ensuring compliance with industry and military standards. The position will involve creating 3D models, reviewing designs, and supporting various engineering functions using Siemens NX 12 and Teamcenter.

Key Responsibilities :
- Mechanical Drawing Creation : Create and review mechanical drawings to ensure proper dimensions, materials, and quantities are specified.
- 3D Modeling : Model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 12 and Teamcenter.
- Design Review : Review designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and fabrication economy. Ensure compliance with applicable GD&T standards.
- Collaboration : Liaise with engineering disciplines, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams. Assist with vendor interactions as needed.
- Drawing Revision : Revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards.
- Supervision : May supervise and direct staff as required.
- Additional Responsibilities : Support additional duties as assigned and manage related tasks in a fast-paced environment.
