We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Liaison 2 to collaborate directly with engineering teams to construct complex models and test articles with precise tolerances, in accordance with the direction provided by the requesting engineers. This role involves building wind tunnel models/test articles to support AERO system development and design, as well as providing specialized parts and hardware necessary for testing and evaluating prototype articles. The Engineer Liaison 2 will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of fabricated components related to technology development, testing, and verification.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with engineers to build and test complex models and test articles per specifications.
• Constructing wind tunnel models/test articles to support AERO system development.
• Providing specialized parts and hardware for the evaluation of prototype articles.
• Ensuring the quality and integrity of fabricated components related to technology development, testing, and verification.
• Supporting test execution requirements associated with models and providing assistance during test operations.
• Traveling to various test site locations to support responsible engineers' testing efforts.
• Demonstrating extensive knowledge in specialized functions related to the building and testing of models.
• Reading, understanding, and working with engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Regular communication with supporting organizations and individuals.

• High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of experience in general shop fabrication and conventional machining processes.
• Must currently have or meet the requirements for a DOD security clearance and be able to be approved for individual SAR programs.
• Ability to work first or second shift and extensive overtime as needed.

• Extensive hands-on experience in specialized functions related to model building and testing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues during test execution.
