PROLIM Global Corporation (www.prolim.com) is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead a significant Data Governance project for a top client in Austin, Texas. This position requires strong collaboration with both IT and program stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution through agile methodologies and state-specific project management frameworks.
Job Title: Project Manager 2
Location: Austin, TX (701 W 51st Street)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 4 days remote, 1 day onsite (Tuesdays)
Client: Texas Health and Human Services Commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of the assigned project.
- Lead Agile project management efforts, facilitating ceremonies with vendors, IT teams, and program stakeholders.
- Manage the JIRA board, track progress, and ensure timely project reporting.
- Work within the HHSC-IT project management framework to align with state regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and ensure adherence to Quality Assurance efforts.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 years of experience in Project Management.
- 5 years of experience managing enterprise-scale data management projects.
- 3 years of experience managing complex projects in state or federal government agencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience creating Texas Project Delivery Framework deliverables and managing projects using this framework.
- 1 year of experience as a Certified PMP.
