What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Maintenance Technician position at Prolink?
We are actively hiring experienced CNC Maintenance Technicians to support a high-volume, 24/7 aerospace manufacturing facility located in Tallassee, Alabama. This is a full-time, non-traveling position with immediate openings across first, second, and third shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on CNC machinery and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Rebuild and align mechanical subassemblies, including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Conduct servo tuning and assist with CNC system diagnostics
- Accurately document all maintenance activity, part usage, and service outcomes
- Communicate effectively with operations leadership, technicians, and support staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a shift-based environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance
- Proficient in working with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar CNC controls
- Capable of troubleshooting and repairing machinery at the component level
- Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical schematics
- Intermediate understanding of ladder logic and CNC programming concepts
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, production-driven environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks that require reaching, bending, and prolonged standing
- Autoclave experience is a plus
- Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certifications preferred
