FIELD SERVICE & INSTALL TECHNICIAN
Direct hire, opportunity for advancement, use of company vehicle during the work day, great benefits!
Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm with occasional OT Average 40-50 hours per week, very occasional on call (everyone takes a turn 3-4 times a year on rotation, but infrequent)
Job Description:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and servicing of equipment and solutions in Loading Docks, Storage Systems, Safety products and Energy Conservation in commercial facilities
- Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining the following equipment; dock levelers, vehicle restraints, door systems, rolling doors, scissor lifts, fans and air curtains
- Maintain electronic records of all service work and repairs
- Communicate with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean driving record, and drive safely from site to site
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
* **Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record in order to drive company vehicle
* **Successful completion of drug screen and background check
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to move/lift 75 lbs
- Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and skills
- Work well in a team setting
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Time management skills
- Great customer service skills
- Dock and Door experience is a plus
- Welding experience is a plus
