Job Summary
The Cath Lab Technician works in a multidisciplinary lab, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catherization equipment.
- Applies prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment.
- Must live within 100 miles of the work location.
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm with night/weekend call and holiday call if applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- BLS & ACLS certification required.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- RCIS or ARRT certification required.
- Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience.
