GWW 36 hours on-call shifts are required, including at least one night per week and every weekend, every three weeks. The response time is 30 minutes.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
- Knowledge of:
- Angioplasty
- Stent
- IABP Intra-aortic balloon pump
- Impella
- Rotablader
- Pacemaker/ICDs
- Scrubbing
- Hemodynamics
- Bonus points for experience with:
- EP (Electrophysiology)
- Watchman
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Required certifications:
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist
- CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Education:
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology
The Cath Lab Team works with proceduralists to perform interventional procedures. IR Technicians operate medical imaging equipment, including single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, Ultrasound, and Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), and assist with device management.
