Ultrasound Sonographer Role
Description
This is a 40 hour per week position, requiring a rotating on-call schedule and shift expectations. The sonographer will participate in a shared call schedule with a team of five technicians, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including upper and lower extremity venous duplex, upper and lower extremity arterial duplex, carotid duplex, bypass graft, mesenteric artery duplex, renal artery duplex, upper and lower extremity vein mapping duplex, fistula flow, and venous reflux studies.
- Demonstrate independent proficiency in general sonography and OB/GYN breast experience.
Requirements
This role requires a strong foundation in all vascular studies and general sonography, with optional but desirable experience in OB/GYN breast imaging.
