Job Summary
This is a Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Cardiologist position at our hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other medical professionals to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including electrophysiology studies and ablations.
- Evaluate and manage patients with heart rhythm disturbances, including those requiring catheter ablation.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions.
- Provide consultation services to physicians and other healthcare providers on matters related to cardiovascular disease.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of procedures, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Stay current with advances in cardiology and electrophysiology through ongoing education and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Board certification in cardiology or internal medicine with additional training in electrophysiology.
- Licensure in Arizona, with ability to obtain licensure in other states if needed.
- Registration with the DEA.
- Acls certification.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions:

Education and Training:
