Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular surgery team. As a key member of the surgical team, you will work in the operating room (OR) with availability every day, participating in clinic days approximately 1 day per week, and rounding daily either alone or with the surgeon.
Schedule and Coverage Details
- Work in the OR with daily availability
- Participate in clinic days, about 1 day per week
- Rounding daily, either solo or with the surgeon
Procedure Expertise
- Perform elective vascular procedures, including EVH systems (Maquet, Hemopro, Terumo)
- Assist with complex cases such as CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR, and MVR
- No bedside procedures required
Certification Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- EPIC EMR experience
- Active DEA registration
This is a full-time position with scheduled clinic hours and call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
