About the Role:
We are seeking a Critical Care Nurse Specialist to provide occasional part-time coverage in our busy Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
- Occasional, part-time shifts to cover vacations, PTOs, and sick leaves
- 11-hour shift duration from 11a-11p
Work Environment:
- Average of 5-7 ED patients admitted daily
- 45 patients per 24 hours on average
- 70% of patients transferred from the ED monthly
- 10 beds available in the ED
Credentials and Requirements:
- Active MI license required
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience required
- Provider must be local; mileage reimbursement only
- COVID vaccine required at time of hire
