Physician Emergency Medicine Coverage Opportunity
Availability and Schedule Requirements:
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, both days and nights.
- Monthly Shifts: 4-6 shifts per month, starting as soon as possible.
Job Details:
- Medical Professional Type: Physician
- Service Dates: Ongoing coverage for 4-6 shifts per month.
- Shift Rotation: Both day and night shifts, with 12-hour rotations.
- Admission Rate: 1-2 patients per day, on average.
- Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (or CALS with Trauma component certification).
- Emergency Room Volume: 10,000 patients annually.
- On-call Commitment: No on-call requirements.
- Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech.
- Support Staff: 2 Registered Nurses (RNs) and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing support.
